The AME Cup tournament continues this evening at the Luxol Ground in St Andrew’s with two matches from Group A.

Birkirkara will be facing Qormi at 6.30pm, while in the second match, which starts at 8.30pm, Sliema W. will be meeting Rabat Ajax.

In the opening matches, Birkirkara defeated Sliema 4-2 while Rabat got the better of Qormi 1-0.

Two Group B matches will be played tomorrow, as follows:

6.30pm Balzan Y-Mosta; 8.30pm Tarxien R-Hamrun S.

In this group, in the opening matches, Mosta beat Hamrun 3-1, while Balzan beat Tarxien R. 5-3 on penalties, after a 1-1 draw in the 90 minutes.
